Total Points (Averaging your grade)
The total possible number of points for this course is 500. Your Mid-Term exam will be worth 100 points. Your Final Exam will be comprehensive and will be worth 200 points. An average of your weekly assignments will make up 100 points and an average of your weekly quizes will make up 100 points. Your total points earned (out of 500) will be divided into 500 points and that average will be your grade for this online course. As you can see, you will need ALL the points you can possibly earn in ALL these areas. For example, if you only take the exams (AND MAKE A PERFECT SCORE ON BOTH) you would only have a 60% (D) for the class. Furthermore, if you only do the assignments and quizzes (AND MAKE A PERFECT SCORE ON ALL OF THEM) you would only have a 40% (F) for the class. Therefore, it is vitally important that you complete ALL materials (Assignments, Quizzes, and Exams) and complete them ON-TIME.
